Common Questions
How long are classes?
- 40 minutes
What are the rainy day options?
- Ft. Greene
- Online session the morning of your class at 11am for 25 minutes
- Make up classes either at other regularly scheduled class times during the current session or the following one
- If your class has more than three rainy days, additional Tuesday morning classes will be added
- Carroll Gardens
- Classes at St. Mary's Playground, where there's good coverage from the rain.
- Make up classes either at other regularly scheduled class times during the current session or the following one
What if I miss a class?
- Make up any missed classes at the other regularly scheduled class times during the session
- Add it on to the following session as an additional class. This means that the following session you'd be able to attend two classes a week to make up the missed class. (Just to clarify, this means adding a class to the next session, rather than subtracting it from your next session's registration.)
What safety precautions are taken?
- Social distancing
- Anyone that's sick or tested positive for Covid in the past 10 days should avoid coming to class.
- Bringing your own instruments to class is strongly encouraged.
- Instruments provided in class are thoroughly sanitized between uses.
What is the youngest a baby should start classes?
- It totally depends on each child! I've had babies begin as young as two months and gain great benefits from class. My recommendation is to try out class with your little one to see what makes sense for them.
