Common Questions

How long are classes?

- 40 minutes

What weather would prevent class from happening outdoors?

- Cold weather below 30°

- Rain or snow depending on how heavy it is

What are the options if there's bad weather?

1.  Attend a 25-minute remote session at your regularly scheduled class time

2. Make up the missed class at another regularly scheduled class time

3. Roll over missed classes to the spring session

What if I miss a class?

- Make up any missed classes at the other regularly scheduled class times during the session or roll it over to the spring session.

What safety precautions are taken?

- Mask wearing required (preferably better than cloth mask) for adults and children 2 and up

- Social distancing

- Anyone that's sick or tested positive for Covid in the past 10 days should avoid coming to class.

- Bringing your own instruments to class is strongly encouraged.

- Instruments provided in class are thoroughly sanitized between uses.

What is the youngest a baby should start classes?

- It totally depends on each child! I've had babies begin as young as two months and gain great benefits from class.  My recommendation is to try out class with your little one to see what makes sense for them.

Why are classes mostly outdoors for winter?

- Safest option against Covid

- Since classes are movement based, in full sun locations, and winters are trending milder, classes work well outdoors. We were bundled up for 2020 winter and it was a blast!

- More students have the opportunity to attend class outdoors.

- With our flexible make up policy, you can be sure to get in the full 11 classes for your session.
